AIM has proudly served the Industry for over a decade now with a stellar track record. We deal with early detection screenings, and an unusual specific Harm Reduction Program, which has been developed by Myself, and the Founders in 1998, to protect and screen our special population with the latest information on HIV and STDs.
FACT: AIM is a "Tool Box" of sorts for the Industry. We recommend a minimum amount of testing each month, however, we have an extensive menu of tests for you to choose from.
AIM recommends that if you wish for your partners to be tested for "everything", then you obtain the same for yourself each month, and state to your agent or employer that you require your partners to do the same.
Condoms as well are always available and recommended at AIM.
We are not the Police department of the Industry, nor wish to be. Our Protocols are "Suggested Requirements". AIM has a list of early detection tests for you to make your personal protection protocol menu while you work in the Industry.
Our goals are simple:
1) To keep you Informed upon entry, and make sure that you are quite aware of the risks, both physical and emotional that you are about to embark upon.
2) Remain screened and checked out every 14-30 days that you are in the industry, with availing yourself to our checkups, vaccinations, Dr.'s services 5 days each week.
3) Upon leaving, making sure that you have a healthy attitude, and goals to transfer from the Industry into the "real world" without a problem. We also have Counseling Programs as well as "Life After Porn" Scholarship Programs to insure a wonderful and seamless transition into the real world.
AIM has always been there for our patients, even when they leave the industry. AIM continues to be available for the sexually active, either "Industry or Civilian". WE consider ourselves one of the Last Great American Grass Roots Organizations.
As a not for profit, we are here to serve you, so if there are any suggestions, please, feel free to voice your opinions to us, we shall always listen, as we are in the clinic, and not always in the field of the population we serve.
Thanks for your ongoing support,
Dr. Sharon Mitchell,
