Gerard Rocco Damiano Sr
August 4th 1928 - October 25th 2008


On Saturday October 25, At 7:45 PM Jerry's soul peacefully departed his body.
He suffered from complications following a stroke.
He will be remembered by all of those who knew him for his charm and wit.
His films are a legacy of his talent and vision.

On August 3rd 2008, we celebrated his 80th Birthday together with him.
We feel that this was the ultimate celebration of his life, therefore we will not be holding a memorial service for him.

We feel blessed to have shared our lives with such an amazing man.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to
The Adult Industry Medical Healthcare foundation (AIM).

A note from Dr. Sharon Mitchell::

Gerard Damiano has past after 80 years on this planet. Gerry was quite an influence on me as young Starlet in New York City. I starred in 5 movies directed by him, and had parts in many others. It was an honor to work with such a talented Director. He would rehearse me days before my performance for about a week of rehearsals, it was wonderful.

I have not only been blessed to be in Porn when it was big budget and an art form, but also to be vulnerable enough to someone who knew how to get stellar performances out me. I won best Actress for 3 of the 5 movies I starred in for Gerard. He was a talented man, a loving father, a great friend and mentor to me, and I will miss him so. I know where to find him though; all I have to do is press "PLAY." ... Dr. Sharon Mitchell


Gerard's family has been thoughtful enough to, in lieu of flowers, have donations made to AIM in Gerard's name. I can assure you as the Founder and Executive Director of AIM, these donations will be earmarked in Gerard Damiano's name, and solely used for the purpose of the indigent who cannot afford funerals, detox beds for the addicted, and education for the "Life After Porn" program. We are grateful to the family, and our condolences are with them in their time of need. Dr. Sharon Mitchell
